Meet the Band

Born in Southern Iowa,  Chad has enjoyed playing live music for over 40 years in various bands throughout Iowa.  He grew up listening to Hank Williams Sr and Outlaw Country with my father and Elvis Presley with my mother.   Influences  include Waylon Jennings,  Jamey Johnson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash, Molly Hatchet and most Southern Fried Rock bands.   A Marine Corps Veteran of Desert Storm and love of this country be assured that Red Dirt Renegade will always have the 6 of all veterans.........Semper Fidelis.  

  Jason has been playing guitar professionally since 2006. He’s played lead guitar with some of the busiest working bands in Iowa. Heavily influenced by Bakersfield country, Southern Rock, 50’s rockabilly and 70’s Outlaw Country.   Known as the Tycoon of Twang, Jason easily handles all genres of music and has an exceptional ear for tone and if you couple that with his outstanding collection of amps and guitars then you're in for a treat.
