Red Dirt Renegade or as our fans refer to us “RDR” is a hard hitting all Iowan Outlaw Country band that performs originals as well as music by Cody Jinks, Waylon Jennings, Jamey Johnson, Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Johnny Cash etc. Comprised of some of the finest musicians in our great state we feature a true Southern Iowa born and raised lead vocalist, the Tycoon of Twang on lead guitar, and Iowa’s best rhythm section on bass and drums. We are a professional band with a combined 120 years of stage experience, high end equipment and a pure passion for live performance. RDR considers all venues we play as a partnership and we always do our part to ensure success plain and simple. RDR will be in the studio in early 2024 recording our first full length album.

Review: First off what a great concert. You guys did a wonderful job of keeping the dance floor full all night. But equally important you guys know how to treat a venue. Bands take note: Red Dirt Renegade does not oversaturate themselves in one area. They are just a stand up group of guys that know it’s a partnership. Red Dirt Renegade protected us and made sure we had a good turnout. Until you guys I was beginning to give up on live music.
